Gina G. MacDonald is an Estate Planning and Elder Law attorney with extensive experience in
Trust creation and administration, Probate, Conservatorships, Guardianships, Medi-Cal
and Elder Law Issues. She has over 35 years experience in the legal field and has
been a practicing attorney for over 20 years. She is a member of the Santa Clarita
Valley Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association and the San Fernando Valley Bar Association.
Ms. MacDonald attended The University of La Verne College of Law where she graduated Cum
Laude as Valedictorian in 1988. She was admitted to the California State Bar in
December 1988 and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Prior
to establishing her private practice in the Santa Clarita Valley, Ms. MacDonald was employed
as an Associate Attorney at a Sherman Oaks business litigation firm and as the Managing
Attorney for the UAW Legal Services Plan in Van Nuys, California. In addition to her
private practice, she is an attorney-member of the Hyatt Legal Service Plan and renders
estate planning services for them.
Over the last 20 years, Ms. MacDonald has worked to establish long-term relationships
with clients built on trust, availability, and honesty. It is her philosophy that when
you allow a client to become an active participant in solving their legal dilemmas, they
leave with a better understanding of the issues at hand and the ability to implement the advice received.
Ms. MacDonald is a member of the American Association of University Women (AAUW), the
Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce, The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA)
and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA). As a volunteer mediator for the Superior Court
she has assisted litigants in resolving their disputes without the costs of a lengthy trial. In
addition, she is a former Regional Occupational Teacher instructing an introductory course
regarding careers in law for high school and adult students through the William S. Hart Union
High School District Regional Occupational Program. She is a former board member of the Santa
Clarita Valley Committee on Aging and the Santa Clarita Valley School and Business Partners.

30 years Ms. MacDonald has deep roots in the community. She has been a guest speaker
at the Santa Clarita Valley Kaiser Permanente facility, Santa Clarita Adult Day Health
Care Center, Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center, Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association
and various community and church groups. Her most recent speaking engagement was for the
