For the past twenty years, the Law Office of Gina MacDonald has been helping clients select the best plan of action to preserve and distribute their assets during life and after death through proper estate planning. Many of our elderly clients find their long term care planning can include seeking government assistance. Our office can assist in the planning for Medi-Cal eligibility, determining exempt assets, asset transfers and the preparation of Care Contracts. In addition, we plan and prepare Special Needs Trusts for individuals who want to leave assets to a beneficiary who is receiving government assistance.

Our office helps clients in determining when a Conservatorship of an adult or Guardianship of minor children is necessary. We provide legal representation to surviving spouses, family members and friends by assisting them with the ongoing responsibilities of managing these estates to final distribution, whether within the probate court or privately.
